RRS Article of the Week

Article 28 – The Right to Education

Every child has the right to an education. Primary education must be free and different forms of secondary education must be available to every child.

Article 29 – Goals of Education

Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full.

At Marlow C of E Infant School it is our belief is that every individual is created in God's image and is therefore precious and valuable. We believe in treating everybody with respect and dignity because we acknowledge their God given value and unique identity.  We aim for all of our pupils to be empowered to be enthusiastic learners, through progressive teaching methods and technology.

All the below activities are linked to the above article, you don't need to do every single activity but if you have time you can do more than one!

1)  Draw a picture of yourself completing your favourite school activity.

2)  Imagine you have a magic wand which can change one thing about your school for the better. What would you use your one wish on?  Please let Mrs Howarth or Mrs Reynolds know!

3)  Watch this short Global Goals film which shows how many children and young people around the world are using their talents to make the world a better place. What are you good at?  How could you use your talents to make the world a better place?

4) Have a look on our the Sustainable  Developmenet Goals of our school website to see what we do at Sandygate to support the Global Goals — is there anything that you think we do that we have forgotten to include?
