It was a very different format to previous Open Afternoons, with only one parent per child and each class coming in separately at different time slots to minimise the numbers in school.

It did give children a chance to show their parents their classroom and some of the art work they have created this year and each class had prepared a dance to perform for their parents.  As Mrs Reynolds explained to parents, we were very keen to show them that life in school has been as 'normal' as we could make it even if they have not been able to come in to share in it.  The resilience that the children have shown over the last year was clearly evident in how confident they were to share their dances, art and other learning. 

It was lovely to see parents in school and the children were very excited to be able to guide their parents around and share their performance and even the weather worked our favour too!
