Year 2 Trip to Mop End
On Tuesday 11th May Year 2 visited the Field Study Centre at Mop End
This trip supported the children's science learning this half-term. They were able to investigate the different habitats at Mop End (which included the pond, meadow and woodland) and the creatures that live in those habitats. The children also discovered insects living in dead wood and did some pond dipping - you can see some of the things they found in the photos here.
Everyone had a fantastic time and the weather even stayed dry for us! This was the first school trip we have been able to organise since November 2019, so we were all very excited about it.
