On Thursday 8th February the children in Reception were learning about the Lunar New Year and the start of the New Year of the Dragon.  

The children made, and then ate, vegetable spring rolls; learned a dragon dance, learned about the story of the Chinese zodiac and all the different animals that are  assigned to different years in the Chinese calendar. They also used their cutting skills to make a dragon model.
