During Safety Week, the Reception children learned that there are many heroes who work to make the local community a safer, happier place to live. These heroes may not be as famous as celebrities, but they are well-known figures and role models. The Fire & Rescue Service is a good example of this, and we were very lucky to have them visit our school on Friday. The children were so excited to see a fire engine up close and meet the Fire & Rescue team. They were even lucky enough to hear all the different sirens and see the flashing lights.
