Trip To Wycombe Museum

Trip to Wycombe Museum, 24th November 2022, Year 2

As part of the History Curriculum, the Year 2 children went to visit Wycombe Museum to learn more about the Second World War.

The Team at Wycombe Museum led the children in a learning session about the War where they saw artefacts from the War and the children took part in a craft activity.

The children also went around the galleries, and were able to discuss the similarities and differences between ways of living in different periods. They then explored the cooking, washing and food resources in The Old Kitchen.

The Furniture Galleries were fascinating, and the children enjoyed learning how chairs were constructed in the past.

Finally, we had fun playing dressing up like the people in the olden days!
