Harvest 2022
Harvest Festival at Marlow C of E infant School on Thursday 6th October
Our Harvest Festival was led by worship leaders from Year 2. They explained that Harvest Festival is a time to celebrate all the food we eat and to say thank you to God for giving us everything we need.
They told us the story of Frank, a farmer in Malawi, who couldn't grow enough food to eat and the help he was given by Christian Aid.
Year 1 sang and acted out 'Pull that turnip', Reception sang the Harvest Song and Year 2 sang 'Shoo wop do waddy waddy'
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our service of celebration and thanksgiving and for the donations you brought in for One Can Trust. On Friday morning the school council helped to load all the donations into the cars of the parents who had kindly offered to take them to the One Can Trust in High Wycombe. They were very grateful for all the donations which will help to feed local families.
There are some photos of the Harvest celebration in the gallery here.
