We were very pleased to be able to welcome our Sandygate families in for our Open Afternoon for the first time in 3 years.

The weather was great, and it was lovely to see so many parents, carers, siblings and grandparents coming into school to visit the classrooms, meet and chat to teachers and see what the children have been learning about. Each year group performed a dance which linked to their topic and there were also performances from the Recorder and Maypole clubs. 

Thank you to the PFA for providing refreshments and ordering pizzas.  

It was a wonderful family occasion and the atmosphere was fantastic. The end of the afternoon was marked by the 'traditional' dance performed by the Year 2s and then joined by their grandparents, parents and siblings!
