In school this week

We made it!  What a year it has been, challenges at every turn but full of achievements too.

Our Service this morning to say goodbye to the Y2 children was a special time and it was wonderful to welcome parents to share in the occasion. Later in the morning, the maypole club performed to the other children. You will be able to see some photos of both the service and the maypole dancing in an album on the website linked below.

As we close this academic year, I would like to thank the wonderful staff team for their dedication to your children and the school. It is a testament to their focus on children's academic learning as well as their social & emotional learning that all the children have made huge progress this year and the vast majority have caught up any lost learning.

This significant feat could not have been achieved without the help of our parent body. I would like to thank everybody for their generosity, not just with the end of term gifts that the staff received, but also you have been so generous with your thanks and support over the last year.

Looking forward, who knows what September will bring?  Let's enjoy the summer!

Return to school in September

We have some vague plans for September and we are very much hoping that we will be able to open without staggered starts or cones and tape. We are not, however, going to make any assumptions as we learned last summer that things can change very quickly.

We will be in touch with parents and carers before the start of term to confirm the arrangements.  We are hoping that we will not have staggered starts and drop-offs. Drop off will be at 8.45am- 8.55am and pick up will be at 3.15pm. We will continue to ask children to bring their own fruit into school in a named container and wear their PE kits into school (as previously mentioned) on their PE days.
