Next week is National Refugee Week and as a school, we will be raising money to support the local charity Marlow Refugee Action.
In our school worship on Thursday this week, the Rights Respecting Schools Ambassadors spoke to the school about refugees and made them aware of why is it so important to help and support them. They also set the whole school a challenge to help raise some vital funds.
To mark this annual event, the children and staff at our school will be getting on the move for refugees, and together we will be walking strong. Each class will walk a lap of the school grounds every day. We will then end the week with a mufti-day to mark our efforts.
