Harvest Festival
- Date: Thursday 9th October
We will be holding our Harvest Festival service twice in school, one at 9.00am-9.30am and the other at 2.30pm-3.00pm. The service will be led by Year 2 worship leaders and each year group will be singing a song as part of the service.
In the past, this has always been a very popular service and, as space in our school hall is limited, we have had to hold the service twice to accommodate everyone who wished to attend.
We would like to ask all parents who would like to attend this service to book a session.
One Can Trust
Harvest time is all about being thankful for what we have, and we will be talking to the children about this in school. Helping and sharing with others is a good way of showing how thankful we are, and so we will be supporting One Can Trust (High Wycombe) over the Harvest period. One Can Trust works with organisations, including Buckinghamshire Council to provide weekly food parcels to those who need their help.
We will be collecting items for One Can Trust from Monday 6th October for our Harvest offering.
There will be boxes out at drop-off and pick-up all week. Please see below their priority list of items. If every child could bring in one tin or packet, then we would have 160 items to donate to One Can Trust, which would have a big impact. We will send out another reminder closer to the time.
One Can Trust has a list of their most wanted items which you can see below.

Morning Snack
If grapes and cherry tomatoes are being sent in for children's morning snack, please could parents and carers make sure that these items are cut in half.

Facebook & Instagram

Please don't forget to follow us on social media! We will be using these platforms to share some of the wonderful things we do and achieve at school, so please 'like' and 'follow' us!

Home Learning – Google Classrooms
Logins for Google Classrooms were sent out to parents & carers of all children on Monday. Please contact the school office if you have any problems logging on or if you didn't receive yours.

Sandygate Sunday
- Date: Sunday 28th September 11.00am-12 noon
Once a term, we are invited to take part in the 10.59 service at All Saints Church. Some of our pupils will read prayers they have written, and we lead the congregation in one of the songs we sing in school. The children will be singing one of their favourite Harvest songs 'Plates Piled High'. We have only 10 children signed up so far, and we would like lots more to keep these 10 company!
All Sandygate families are welcome to come along to the service. We ask that children wear their red jumpers/cardigans to identify them as Marlow Infant pupils. They should sit with their family during the service and the school staff in church will invite them up at the appropriate times.

All Saints Community Fun Day
- Date: Sunday 28th September 1.00pm - 4.00pm
After Sandygate Sunday, the All Saints team will be holding a fun-filled event to which all our school families are invited. There will be lots of activities to enjoy and refreshments provided. This is a great opportunity to meet other local families as well as school ones. There is a leaflet containing full details at the bottom of the newsletter.

School Census
- Date: Thursday 2nd October
It's Census day next Thursday and a significant amount of the funding we are granted is based on how many children take a school-provided lunch on this day.
If parents or carers have not already ordered lunch for their child on this day, we would greatly appreciate it if they could consider doing so. This would make sure we get the greatest amount of funding to spend on the children as possible.
