It has been another fantastic year, filled with memorable moments and achievements to celebrate. As we head into the summer break, it’s a perfect time to reflect on all we’ve accomplished and look ahead to the exciting plans in store for the future.
This morning’s End of Year service was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school family and celebrate the journey we’ve shared. Our Year 2 children reflected on their time with us, sharing special memories from the past three years. It was a joy to recognise the progress every child has made over the last 12 months. While we’re sad to see our Year 2s move on, we’re excited about the new opportunities that await them and proud of the strong foundations they’ve built here at Marlow C of E Infant School.
Our incredible staff have once again gone above and beyond, and I feel so proud to be part of such a dedicated and passionate team. Even as we wind down for the summer, they’re already preparing for the year ahead. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of them for their unwavering commitment and hard work.
A special mention goes to Mrs Moore, who will not be returning in September as she retires. We wish her all the very best for this new chapter. She will be greatly missed. Mrs Thirlway has made a big contribution to the school over the last year while she has been covering Mrs Mitchell's maternity leave. I would like to thank her for all she has done and wish her well for the future.
To all our school families, thank you for your continued support, kindness, and generosity. Your thoughtful gifts and kind words this week have meant so much to us all. Wishing you a restful, joyful summer holiday!
