6th December 2024

In school this week

The worship leaders led the Advent Service beautifully on Tuesday. They took their role seriously and delivered everything with such confidence, they thoroughly deserved the applause they were given. This was the first trip to All Saints with school for the Reception children, and they walked there and back with such energy! All in all, the service was a wonderful family occasion and uplifting too.

This week has seen the last session of Outdoor Learning delivered by Little Muddy Me. They have worked with us for over a year and the children have enjoyed the learning that has been shared by them. I would like to thank the Little Muddy Me team for the contribution that they have made to the school. I am pleased to say that the Outdoor Learning lessons will continue in the new year with the Outdoor Project, led by Dan Siskin.

Next week is a busy one, with all our Nativity performances, Reception singing at Liston Hall, Big Sing and Christmas Jumper Day! Also, on Monday, we will welcome the Year 3 children from Holy Trinity Junior school, who are coming to watch the Key Stage 1 Nativity Dress Rehearsal. It will be lovely to see all the familiar faces. Our Year 2 children will be visiting Holy Trinity to see the Year 3’s perform their Christingle on Monday.

Christmas parties & Christmas lunch

  • Date: Thursday 19th December

Children are welcome to come to school dressed in festive party clothes on this day, as we will be having class Christmas parties!

The Kids Lunch company will also provide us with Christmas-themed lunch options.

The options will be:

  • Hot turkey & stuffing bap
  • Hot veggie sausage & stuffing bap
  • Cheese sandwich (for any who really won't eat either of the above!)
  • None of the above (my child will have a packed lunch)

The meat is not halal, so anyone with a halal diet may wish to have the veggie option instead.

The baps will come to us unassembled to keep the meat hot, so the stuffing can be left out for those children who don't want it.

To help us to determine how many Christmas-themed lunches to order from the Kids Lunch company, please complete the form by clicking below. Please also let us know if your child would not like to have any of these options and will bring in a packed lunch.

REMINDER: Tesco Stronger Starts - Vote for us!

As a school, we take caring for the environment very seriously. As part of this is helping the children develop their understanding of how plants, fruit and vegetables grow. The school eco-warriors came up with the idea of the school having its own mini orchard. With this in mind, we are hoping to raise the funds needed. As part of Tesco Stronger starts, you will see our project in their local stores.

Please use the blue tokens to vote for us and will, hopefully, win some of the money that will pay for the mini-orchard.

The Tesco stores where you will be able to vote for us are:

  • High Wycombe Main store (Eden)
  • High Wycombe Loudwater
  • High Wycombe Wooburn Express
  • High Wycombe North Express
  • High Wycombe South Express
  • High Wycombe London Road Express
  • High Wycombe Hazlemere Express
  • Beaconsfield Express
  • Plomer Green Ave Express
  • Bourne End Express
  • High Wycombe New Road Express
  • High Wycombe Chapel Lane Express
  • Stokenchurch Express
  • High Wycombe Hatters Lane Express
