21st October 2022

In school this week

Our Mini Marathon week has been a real success and the children have really entered into the spirit of things! All year groups have completed their 2.3 miles and every child will have brought home a medal to commemorate the event. As we have been learning about Kindness this half-term, the children's enthusiasm for the marathon has been heightened by the thought that their running was going to help others too. When I shared, in worship this morning, how much money they had raised for One Can Trust, they were over the moon!

The children have done so well this half-term, it has been a long time without a break and they (and the adults) are exhausted. I hope that you are able to have a good rest over the break and I look forward to seeing you all in just over a week's time.

Year 1 Trip to Windsor Castle

Next half-term we are planning to take the Year 1 children to visit Windsor Castle. This trip will form part of the enrichment of the Kings, Queens & Castles topic. The trip will take place on 25th November. In order to make the trip possible, we need consent from parents & carers and some additional adult helpers to take with us.
