The Year 2 topic of 'Lest We Forget' was really brought to life when the children visited All Saints Church yesterday. The children looked at the Marlow War Memorial, and admired the poppy wreaths that had been laid there as part of the Remembrance Service on Sunday. In church, the children took part in a variety of activities related to Remembrance Day, which included making their own poppy badge. They also learned about our national history, talked about the bravery of war heroes and said some prayers.

We would like to thank Laura Anne, Anne Morse, Nick Collard, Christine Carter and the rest of the team at All Saints for organising the activities and talking to the children. We would, of course, not have been able to take the children to the church without the help of parent volunteers, so our thanks go to them too.
