Both Year 2 classes carried out their Act of Service by giving back to the community in a meaningful way this week. Grasshopper class did their Act of Service yesterday and Dragonfly did theirs today.

The children took part in litter picking, planting bulbs, and cleaning the sundial in a local garden, a popular lunchtime spot for many. Their efforts not only help care for our environment but also aim to brighten the day of those who visit.

During their visit, the children were delighted to meet Marlow’s Deputy Mayor, who congratulated them on their hard work. The children were also given some sunflower seeds to plant in individual pots to take home with them.
