PFA Outdoor Volunteering Day

PFA Outdoor Volunteering Day - INSET day, Monday 2nd June
On the INSET day, the PFA had their first outdoor volunteering day and it was a success!
A group of enthusiastic parents with their children did a marvellous job turning the overgrown wild garden into a great place for the kids to be close to nature.
They trimmed nettles, pruned bushes and even removed some little trees. They tidied the 'dead hedge habitat' and the Bee garden, and lastly painted the benches in the Cocoon.
All in all, it was a fun and rewarding day. Watch this space for the next Outdoor Volunteering Day.
Thank you to all the parents and children who gave up their time to be gardeners for the day.
