Pupil Premium Strategy

Pupil Premium provides funding, but also focus, setting the achievement of children from disadvantaged backgrounds as a priority for our system.

How are we spending our allocated Pupil Premium Grant?

Staff and governors alike, take their responsibility for all pupils seriously and are committed to ensuring that all children, irrespective of their background, culture or challenges they may face, are provided with the opportunity to work towards achieving their full potential. We see our role as twofold;

  • Providing enriched academic learning experiences for pupils so that they make good progress and achieve highly across all subject areas;
  • Preparing pupils for their next steps in learning and life.

Our Pupil Premium Statement and Strategy document is attached at the bottom of the page. It describes the challenges we face, the areas of focus and actions we are going to take this academic year and beyond.  A summary below shows examples of how we are setting the achievement of children from disadvantaged backgrounds as a focus for our school. The model outlines the tiered approach we are following to meet our identified goals.
