On Tuesday, Year 1 visited All Saints Church as part of their RE learning. The focus for their visit was to learn about what Christians do to show their respect for God.

Reverend Dave showed the children a range of different Bibles. There was a huge Bible written in Hebrew, some children's Bibles and a comic strip Bible for teenagers. 

They talked about how, whatever the format, the Bible is a sacred text for Christians, and that it should be treated with respect. Reverend Dave also showed the children the magnificent stained-glass windows by the alter at All Saints. They show Jesus telling stories, including the story about the Lost Son that the children have been learning about in school.

We would like to thank Reverend Dave for his time, the Year 1's really enjoyed their visit.
