In Worship today, the Reception children shared with the rest of the school something that they learnt about before half-term, Lunar New Year! Their Dragon Dance was the highlight.

On the last Friday of the half term, the Reception children made, and then ate, vegetable spring rolls, learned a dragon dance, listened to the story of the Chinese zodiac and learned about all the different animals that are assigned to different years in the Chinese calendar. They also used their cutting skills to make a dragon model.
