On Monday 30th June, Year 1 had a visit from Rabbi Svi from JCOB - The Jewish Community of Berkshire. This is to add enrichment to the Judaism lessons covered already this year and provide the opportunity to speak with an expert and see and handle genuine artefacts.

The children learned about Judaism in the home and about some things that might be special to Jewish people in their homes. They also learned about the Mezuzah scroll and had the opportunity to taste specific foods that are traditional for a Shabbat meal.
