Catchment Area

As part of a county wide scheme, Bucks County Council made changes to the catchment areas of a number of Marlow schools including Marlow C of E Infant School from the September 2018 intake meaning that our catchment area is now shared in parts with Foxes Piece and Burford. This means that any child living in our catchment area will also be in the catchment area for one of those schools giving parents more choice. The changes have been made to ensure there are enough school places without children having to travel unreasonable distances, to avoid ‘bulge’ classes in some schools as we have had in the past, and to accommodate potential housing developments in the town.
Due to housing developments within Marlow over the past few years we were in the position of having houses which crossed the border of our catchment area and, to avoid ambiguity as to which catchment are those houses fall into, there have been some minor changes made with effect from September 2021 intake. The updated catchment map for these changes is also shown below.
