On Tuesday, Year 2 walked to All Saints Church to learn about the events of Holy Week as part of their learning in Religious Education this half-term.

In different groups, the children learned about the significance and highlights of 'Maundy Thursday', 'Good Friday', 'The Last Supper' and 'Easter Sunday'. 

It was amazing to have practical activities like drawing, smelling scents, writing prayers, trying wafers and washing each other's feet!

We are very appreciative of the time that the members of the All Saints team gave to plan and deliver each activity. The sessions taught the children, in such a creative way, about these important events in the Christian calendar.
